Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions to Snag Assistant, operated by YJY Solutions t/a Snag Assistant ("we", "us"). Please read this policy carefully before subscribing.

1. Free trial

All new accounts receive a 30-day free trial with no payment required. We strongly encourage you to use the full trial period to evaluate the Service before subscribing. No refunds are necessary during the trial as no payment is taken.

2. Subscription refunds

2.1 First payment — 7-day money-back guarantee

If you subscribe to a paid plan for the first time and are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment. To request a refund under this policy, email support@snagassistant.com with your account email address and the reason for your refund request. We will process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days.

2.2 Subsequent payments

After the initial 7-day period, subscription payments are non-refundable. When you cancel, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused days.

2.3 Annual plans

We do not currently offer annual plans. This policy will be updated if annual billing is introduced.

3. Exceptions — when we will refund

Regardless of the above, we will issue a refund or credit if:

  • You were charged due to a billing error on our part
  • You were charged after cancelling your subscription
  • The Service was unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours in a billing period due to issues on our side
  • A technical fault on our side prevented you from using the core features of the Service

In cases of extended service outage, we may issue a pro-rata credit to your account rather than a cash refund, at our discretion.

4. How to request a refund

Email support@snagassistant.com with:

  • The email address associated with your account
  • The date of the charge
  • The amount charged
  • The reason for your refund request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.

5. Payment processor refund timelines

Approved refunds are processed through our payment providers:

  • PayFast (ZAR payments): 5–10 business days to reflect in your account
  • Paddle (USD payments): 5–10 business days to reflect in your account

The exact time depends on your bank or card issuer.

6. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us first — we are happy to resolve billing issues directly and quickly.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at snagassistant.com/refund. Changes do not affect refund requests made before the change date.
